Education and Social Cohesion

Project by the Barcelona City Council to promote reading among children in different neighborhoods of the city. Through playful reading activities, language, and oral expression, the aim is to foster a love for reading and enhance the educational, emotional, and social development of primary school children.

Municipal service specialized in international mobility, providing information and advice on immigration, refuge, emigration, and voluntary return to any resident of Barcelona. It offers interpreter services for newcomers who have been in the country for less than two years.

It is an initiative of the Barcelona City Council that collects key municipal data on loneliness in Barcelona. It is also a permanent open platform for data analysis, research, innovation, case studies, and relevant proposals in the fight against loneliness.

The Fundació Banc dels Aliments (Food Bank Foundation) is a nonprofit organization that aims to combat food waste and poverty by donating recovered food to people in need. Once a year, they organize the “Gran Recapte,” a major food donation campaign for vulnerable individuals.
