ProVP

Career Plan Project

This year the Career Plan Project (ProVP) is being taken to all of the centres of education in the city of Barcelona.
This initiative, run by Barcelona Activa, the Barcelona Education Consortium and the Barcelona Professional Training Foundation, aims to offer the city's centres the most innovative tools and methodologies for academic and career orientation for young people.

22,500 students in compulsory and post-compulsory secondary education will have the chance to take part in over 1000 in-person sessions aiming to help identify their professional interests, explore careers related to their current or future studies, work on key aptitudes and working values and get a close insight into the job market, among others.
Similarly, another option allows all centres of education interested to have the multimedia tool P22p installed totally free of charge, as well as receiving the associated training.

The project's target audience comprises students and teachers in secondary school (both compulsory and post-compulsory), professional training, art and sports courses, PQPI vocational foundation courses, entry test preparation courses, graduates from adult GCSE courses, and secondary school students with special educational needs.
