Description

Interactive marketing consultants are responsible for supporting the client company's overall marketing strategy through the use of interactive media such as the internet, mobile telephones and interactive television, which make it possible to communicate directly and personally with consumers and establish a two-way relationship that goes from the company to the consumer and from the consumer to the company. Developing the interactive marketing strategy entails finding out what type of presence the advertiser wishes to have in interactive media: what they wish to communicate, how and where. Interactive marketing consultants address all of these issues and help to integrate the company into the online world. These professionals are also responsible for coordinating the company's CRM (Consumer Relationship Management) strategies and aim to achieve a close relationship with the client in order to establish ties of loyalty, by offering personalised, long-term service. Interactive marketing consultants are professionals who have gradually specialised in the use of interactive communication tools. They work as part of a multidisciplinary team made up of designers, creatives and programmers.

Tasks

  • Advise clients about interactive marketing options and listen to their needs.
  • Analyse and study the sector to which the advertiser belongs.
  • Establish and assess the company's marketing strategies and plan.
  • Define possible locations for the online advertising: banners, online advertising texts, commercial emails, text messages sent to digital/mobile telephones, specific presence on interactive television, special campaigns, etc.
  • Define possible agreements that can be reached with various websites in order to obtain joint benefits.
  • Decide who should implement each of the marketing actions within the company.
  • Coordinate and oversee the different actions within the campaign.
  • Organise the company's CRM (Consumer Relationship Management) strategy and everything this entails: relational databases, personalised responses for clients, liaising between the different departments of the company.
  • Oversee the marketing strategy implemented and analyse the results by drawing up surveys and statistics.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients in order to keep them up-to-date with the progress of the campaign.
