This kind of professional recommends and implements modifications to the image of a group of individuals, to ensure that these project the values and messages of a particular community, corporation or company.

This includes the study and assessment of customer needs as a legal person and and advice regarding the image he/she must project to his/her task force to its full hierarchical and functional extent. A group image which must fit and be consistent with the corporate image, facilities, products, etc.

The group image consultant may work for the management team or constitute a work tool for the following departments: Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, etc.


  • Help customers define their corporate identity and the messages and values to be projected.
  • Define the iconographic components, language, attitudes and skills required for a group or community to express the previously defined messages and corporate values.
  • Draw up the graphic and visual group image proposal, using suitable tools and resources.
  • Ask technical partners to contribute the necessary tools an services to implement the group image changes (uniform deign, accessories, work tools, etc.).
  • Train the group in all the necessary skills and abilities required to achieve a good implementation of its image, eliciting the involvement of the team.
  • Coordinate the fine-tuning of the physical characteristics, expressions, attitudes and skills of group members, adapting these to the messages and values the company wishes to project.
  • Study and be aware of the work and contractual relations between the group or team and the management, as well as the legislation and jurisprudence, sector specific especially, which apply to the workers.
  • Establish the work or group image quality standards to be achieved.
  • Draw up a group image procedure handbook to be included in the image and style protocol of the company, corporation, etc.
