Senior citizen activity facilitator

Senior citizen entertainers schedule, organise, facilitate and assess activities aimed at boosting the autonomy of elderly persons or groups thereof.

The concept Active ageing (introduced by the World Health Organization WHO) is the process of optimizing opportunities for health, participation and security in order to enhance quality of life as people age. Thus, the goal of senior citizen entertainers is to help senior citizens to carry out the activities of daily living by taking full advantage of their opportunities according to their needs, capacities and wishes.

Therefore, senior citizen entertainers functions are focused on two aspects.
