Description

These professionals oversee projects involving the assessment and development of telecommunications software, being responsible for managing the human resources assigned to a project and the technical quality of the end product. In general, these projects also involve designing the hardware components on which the software system will operate. In most cases, these software projects provide real-time responses and are able to manage concurrent demands, in other words, allow simultaneous access to telecommunications systems. Real-time systems offer immediate responses, an essential feature in fields such as the control of space satellites. In addition, these communication systems are subject to simultaneous (concurrent) access and demands where information is concerned, for which reason they must be able regulate these demands' processing sequence in order to avoid erroneous responses and respect different priorities.
