Description

The cultural events director is responsible for designing and executing events (openings, shows, performances, etc.) created as a medium of communication that gives visibility to a company or institution. The quality of work depends both on the creativity of their proposals and their skill in organising all initiatives and resources that are involved in producing the event.

Tasks

  • Analyse customer needs and draw up cultural proposals and events as promotional media.
  • Define and draw up cultural event programming using specific criteria.
    Set communication targets.
    Design the dissemination of a corporate image based on the event.
    Consider potential audience.
    Plan the advertising of the event and the promotional campaign.
  • Design the cultural event, marrying the creative brief, communication targets and budget available.
  • Manage resources for the staging of the event.
    Conduct an analysis of what is needed to complete the project.
    Responsible for managing the budget available for the project.
    Carry out a technical analysis of possible issues.
    Organise the necessary human resources (organisation, security, maintenance, services, etc.).
    Oversee contacts with the suppliers of articles and services required (staging, performances, audiovisuals, decoration, catering, etc.).
    Contact the guests who will be attending the event.
  • Draw up a report evaluating the results of the event.
