Description

The banking employee is the person responsible for interpreting, analysing and reconciling movements of individuals' current accounts at banks, including savings banks, which means verifying that the movements made by the clients coincide with their current account's balance. In addition, they directly service clients and manage operations such as deposits, withdrawals, cashing of checks and invoice payments. They also carry out commercial and administrative functions.

Tasks

  • Deal directly and offer personalised service to the public and perform cashier transactions such as cash deposits and withdrawals, cheque cashing, bank transfers, payment of invoices, bills and taxes, etc.
  • Sell the various products and services offered by the company both in person and over the phone, to both companies and individuals, providing information about:
    • Types of bank deposits, bonds and securities.
    • Procedures to open and close accounts.
    • Applying for credit or debit cards.
    • New financial products or other financial advantages or discounts offered by the company.
  • Daily cash reconciliation, recounting deposits and withdrawals made.
  • Managing credit, debit and discount cards, i.e., applying for cards, registering and unregistering them, storing them and distributing them to clients.
