Description
The multimedia application engineer is a professional with experience in interactive applications which enable dialogue between users and a broadcasting device such as a television set, computer or mobile phone. This communication takes place via a peripheral data entry device (keyboard, mouse, remote control, etc.) in digital televisions for cable (ADSL) and satellite platforms, or mobile communication systems. This professional profile develops interactive multimedia projects. In addition to classical media such as text, pictures, graphics or animation, multimedia products encompass the full potential of the audiovisual world (video, audio and data). Projects carried out revolve around training, electronic publishing, online marketing and game and leisure applications. Also in charge of creating prototypes, simulations or visual settings with the assistance of different multimedia technologies.
Tasks
Look after the following tasks in the context of the different projects to be undertaken
- Carry out the functional product analysis.
- On the basis of the functional analysis, develop the solution, making use of the best-suited computer technology.
- Carry out tests to verify that it operates properly.
- Install and fine-tune the developped application.
- Draw up the project documentation (technical documents and user handbooks, if necessary).
