Description

The teacher-trainer prepares prospective company trainers to be able to effectively share their skills and knowledge regarding a particular subject with other members of the company, (e.g. , IT, team leadership, emotional intelligence, risk prevention in the workplace, etc.). The trainer uses the Internet to communicate with his/her pupils, meaning that s/he can work from home. The internal trainer tends to be an expert in his/her field, but is not required to have any teaching experience. It is therefore the teacher-trainer's role to train him/her accordingly. In-company training, that is, training in the company itself, is increasingly considered a competitive advantage and a business quality improvement factor necessary to help company staff adapt to ongoing organisational and technological changes. In addition to providing an incentive for employees while boosting their skills, an in-company training plan generates added-value and increases employee satisfaction levels. Companies need internal trainers with a thorough knowledge of company needs and strategies and, simultaneously, excellent teaching and technical skills. The objective of the teacher- trainer is to help equip prospective teacher-trainers with this set of essential skills .
