Description
The modeller ALIAS makes graphical models and undertakes the simulation of industrial projects prototypes prior to the physical manufacture of the product. You will be able to visualise prototypes to determine materials, formal properties or the most suitable finishes of the internal elements via a three-dimensional modelisation, or an animation. You will also be been able to predict and foresee possible difficulties in the production line that will be corrected thanks to the applications of these software packages and the subsequent graphical models. When this process is finished, you will be able to send the geometry to the CAM system.
Tasks
This professional carries out tasks related to the different applications of the software. Mostly, the modeller responds to the following tasks:
- Transform the sketch in a three-dimensional graphical model. To achieve this, define the volume and proportions of the surfaces of the sketch.
- Visualise the geometry applying different textures and lights, allowing the superficial treatment to be defined, and to which the prototype should be submitted. Taking into account texture and light, this software application is very useful for professionals when creating the final photorealist presentation.
- With views of the design presentation, use the animation application to make a video.
- Produce, where appropriate, section maps, isometries, etc.
