Animic therapist

Description

The psychotherapist designs, devises and implements therapeutic activities with curative goals, based on the different psychotherapeutic schools of thought (gestalt, transpersonal, psychoanalytic and psychedelic), as a work tool and method to achieve improvements in the physical, psychological and social recovery process of groups or individuals, both in terms of specific activities and complementary activities within the framework of a more generic help programme. The psychotherapist handles the entire pathology spectrum, from superficial psychological pathologies to problems linked to emotional disorders (mild depression, apathy and eating disorders) and situations of particular personal difficulty (family conflicts, the separation process, the loss of a relative, etc.). The psychotherapist provides guidance and direction to his/her patients or clients in non- clinical contexts, although his/her work can complement other services of the medical kind. Aside from the traditional schools of Western Psychology, new alternative therapeutic trends are gaining significance in psychotherapy, which work on aspects such as altering one's state of consciousness, using entheogens, music, etc.
