Production Planner, Logistics Planner.

Description

These professionals are responsible for planning the lifecycle of products upon their arrival at points of sale (monitoring stocks, forecasting sales, product rotation, etc.). On the basis of this planning, Product Distribution Planners are responsible for making decisions with regards to the distribution of the product and achieving forecasts.

Tasks

  • Logistics and production areas. The following functions are specified:
    Draw up production plans ensuring compliance with terms.
    Review stock and resolve any emergency situations.
    Analyze the definition / execution of action plans to reduce obsolescence.
    Follow-up the level of stock, analyze product rotation, sales forecasts, margins, etc.; of points of sale.

  • Sales. The following functions are specified:
    Formulate the strategy and operational objective for points-of-sale.
    Plan predicted sale of products in close relationship with the logistics, marketing and sales departments, and draft logistics and supply schedules.
    Define the product range for each point-of-sale.
    Draw up collection plans, selecting basic and seasonal articles.
    Follow-up and control the sales data from points-of-sale.
    Drawing up of technical reports on useful sales to employ in formulating sales strategies.
