Shop Manager

Description

These professionals are responsible for managing all aspects of a point of sale (shop). They are responsible for the following areas: management of staff, stock management, managing the shop's image, managing level of sales. They are the link between the shop and the head office, reporting directly to the company's sales department.

Tasks

  • Leading the establishment's commercial team:
    Lead and motivate the team.
    Keep track of timetables and holidays.
    Hire staff.
    Train the commercial team.
  • Deal with maintenance of the premises:
    Look after the shop display/windows.
    Look after the storage room.
  • Manage and coordinate the shop:
    Apply and ensure application of the company's philosophy, as well as of instructions and directives received from the head office.
    Apply, manage and tailor marketing campaigns to the particular situation of each shop.
    Ensure continuous improvement of the customer service.
    Manage the operating account in order to reach set sales targets.
    Manage the shop's stock.
    Also responsible for carrying out inventories.
