Communications manager.

Description

Cultural marketing professionals identify social demands in the culture sector, to then be able to make attractive proposals that satisfy clients. They try to respond to new challenges posed by companies, cultural services and institutions, which are increasingly more involved in a business operation process and the social and economic profitability of their actions requires effective management techniques and communication strategies.

Tasks

  • Design proposals that are coherent with the mission or raison d'tre of the service provided or the organisation for which you work.
  • Analyse possible consumers by using market research techniques.
    Perform studies on audiences.
    Segment and prioritise prospective clients to be able to offer the highest quality services adapted to their needs.
    Is up to date on emerging social values and new trends.
  • Analyse the competition and other alternative offers.
  • Apply business management techniques to the cultural services sector.
    Apply strategic planning and objective-based management principals.
    Use diagnostic tools such as SWAT analysis, impact matrixes, etc.
  • Define, position and consolidate a brand or distinctive feature that makes a service or organisation unique and differentiates it from the rest.
  • Define service or product prices and characteristics and ways to make them accessible to clients.
  • Develop communications strategies to publicise or consolidate a specific service, company or organisation.
    Set communication targets.
    Create promotional and advertising campaigns.
    Manage sponsorship and patronage actions.
    Take charge of unique events and possible initiatives.
  • Establish strategic alliances with other organisations.
