Systems Manager

These professionals are responsible for the optimisation and technical maintenance of organisations' IT systems. The aim of this occupation is to improve business results through the use of information technologies.

• This individual is responsible for providing the procedures, systems and computer infrastructure required to assist with the operational tasks, support and management of the organisation.
• Carries out the functional analysis, design, construction, implementation, training, evaluation and maintenance of the organisation's information systems:
  Computer-aided design systems for knitwear (CAD), computer-aided manufacture for knitwear (CAM), for entirely computer integrated manufacturing (CIM).
  Software for the processing of purchase orders, control of the inventory and purchases, for production planning, control of production and time, and quality control.
  EDI systems (electronic data interchange), EDIWEB Systems (electronic data interchange via Internet), ERP Systems (enterprise resources planning).
  B2B (business to business) applications, B2C (business to consumer) applications.
• Guarantees support for the users of the implemented information systems.
• Manages the organisation's information technology infrastructure and communications infrastructure.
• Designs and implements computer security standards.
• Guarantees the integrity and availability of the information contained in the organisation's databases, in accordance with the established security policies.
• Guarantees the quality of the information systems that they develop by meeting the functional requirements, optimising the computer resources and minimising the errors of the products they are to implement.
• Conducts the necessary implementation and training tests for the information systems under their responsibility.
• Proposes the modification of the organisation's processes through intensive use of information technologies.
