The working language is Catalan, except for some activities that may be in Spanish or English. The language will be indicated in the activity sheet or the training program.
Barcelona Activa's services are open to all citizens, regardless of their city of residence. There are exceptions for specific services aimed at certain neighbourhoods or the population of Barcelona, which are clearly indicated in the service description.

If you need us to send you the documentation for a course you have attended, send us a request at espaipersonal@barcelonactiva.cat indicating the course name, and we will send it to your email address.
In the Personal Space, you can update your contact details. It is important to keep your email address updated so that we can inform you about activities, courses, or job offers tailored to your profile.
Barcelona Activa manages offers from companies looking for talent. They meet the requirements of location (AMB – Metropolitan Area of Barcelona), non-discrimination, remuneration and duration. Vacancies are filled by pre-selection and processing of CVs through recruitment events
We publish all the offers that we are managing here. You can select the ones that interest you
most based on the sector, day, municipality or category.
From your Personal Space, you can manage all the information about the professional profile you have shared with us, including your resume details. You can also upload your CV and update it whenever needed.
Through our Talent Management service, we help connect companies with people looking for
their first work experience. We help companies define their professional profile and look for
candidates from our job offers and other platforms. If you are looking for an internship
agreement, contact your university, which will usually have a platform where you can consult
the offers published by companies looking for students for internships.
With Barcelona Activa you can define your professional objective and design an action plan to achieve it. We also offer you a wide range of activities inspired by the latest trends in the labour market to perfect your job search strategies and to specialise your professional profile.

Barcelona Activa is an information point for the professional accreditation service of the Generalitat de Catalunya. The advisory staff will inform you about the procedure and access requirements. Ask for a day and time for this service here.
Sign up for Barcelona Activa with a username and password to register for activities in our training catalogue. For some activities, you can register directly, but for others, such as language training, your level will need to be verified before being assigned a spot.
In your Personal Space, you can manage your registrations and cancel your attendance for activities you cannot attend up to 12 hours before they start. This helps ensure that your spot can be assigned to someone else.
The training sessions are conducted using free software. In specific cases, the Moodle platform may be used, and we will provide instructions on how to access it. No activities or training will take place on platforms or devices that are not free and easily accessible.
Vocational training and language courses have different levels of difficulty, we will check your
knowledge to assign you to the appropriate level. We will contact you to invite you to a test or
interview. Once the checks are done, we will contact you to inform you if you have been
selected and the level assigned.
You only need DNI or NIE for official courses such as Professional Certificates. For other training, you can access with your passport. If it is your first registration, you must fill out a form in person at one of our initial service points.
Barcelona Activa's training programs do not have specific employment requirements, as they are designed for both jobseekers and professional development. However, some courses are primarily intended for unemployed individuals registered with the Employment Service of Catalonia. In these cases, this information is clearly stated in the course or activity description.
Yes, it is possible to take training while on temporary disability leave, as long as the reason for the leave does not prevent continuing the training. For training programs that require registration with the SOC, this will depend on verification with the SOC at the time of enrollment.
Currently, all training certificates are issued with a digital signature. If you have an old
certificate, or it has a manual signature, you can ask us for a copy with a digital signature at
formacio@barcelonactiva.cat or the corresponding department.
