EB26_Presencial_Basic training in maritime safety
People who work in the port sector and are looking for professional improvement or unemployed people with professional experience in this sector.
Priority is given to people residing in the city of Barcelona.
Program content:
The Basic Training in Maritime Safety certificate is a mandatory requirement for all personnel who are going to work in the nautical/maritime sector, from small ships to large cruise ships or merchant ships, whether they are: sailors, officers, stewardesses, waiters, lifeguards, mechanics, researchers, monitors, skippers...
This course is approved by the General Directorate of the Merchant Navy (DGMM) and lasts 70 hours and will train you to acquire the necessary knowledge to carry out organizational and supervision tasks in safety and emergencies on board a vessel, according to the STCW95 training agreement.
The Basic Training Certificate in Maritime Safety is valid for 5 years
SYLLABUS-
Personal survival techniques. (Classroom theory, Practices at sea)
- First level fire prevention and fighting. (Classroom theory, Practices in the field of fire)
- First aid. (Classroom Theory, Classroom Practice)
- Personal security and social responsibilities. (Theory in the Classroom)
Duration: 70h (45 theory + 25 practices)
Place of teaching: ESCOLA PORT
To access this training, a selection process will be carried out among the pre-registered people.
