UGT de Catalunya is an activist, autonomous and diverse union which fights for social welfare in keeping with democratic values, which are the cornerstones of its action model. As set forth in its Constitution, UGT de Catalunya makes use of social dialogue and consensus building as tools, legitimately representing workers and all other citizens alike. The union acts as a valid and recognised representative before public administrations and organisations, defending and improving the rights of people in all of the spheres that affect their quality of life, from a trade union perspective.
