Porta22 is Barcelona Activa's employment facility, bringing together a whole range of services and resources for your career development. Measuring 2000 metres squared, it is a free walk-in centre, the first of its kind in Spain and Europe, where you will find the solutions to all of your work-related needs and issues:

Personalised advice
Our team of experts is there to deal with any queries, enquiries or issues you may have about your professional career. Porta22's staff will offer you help and guidance. The service is totally anonymous.
Timetable:
Morning from 13:00 to 15:00 (except friday). Afternoon from 17:30 to 19:30. Friday we are open from 9 to 12. Personalised advice from 9 to 12. In order to ensure an organised service numbers are given upon arrival to Porta22. The quantity of numbers given depends on the availabilty of the staff.
Instructor-led activities for groups:
Monday to a thursday from 9 to 13h. and from 15.30 to 19.30h. Friday from 9 to 17:30h.
Professional development activities
There are daily workshops, seminars and courses to help you increase your professional potential and be more competitive in the market. An extensive network of first-rate collaborators and consultants ensures that our programme is of the highest quality and up-to-date. It is focused on four key areas:
- The development of aptitudes: To help you learn about and develop the aptitudes that have become vital in today's job market.
- Job hunting strategies: With workshops where you can learn to plan your job hunting process, improve your CV, and find out the keys to a successful interview.
- Professional change management: Here you will find workshops and seminars to discover new ways of identifying and planning a new career direction.
- Dialogues with the job market Offering you the chance to get into contact with recruitment firms and other employment intermediaries and find out about the latest developments in the job market.
Remember that if you wish to take part in any of the activities in our Programme, you must sign up in advance on the relevant section of the website. Registration opens at 08:30, seven days before the session is due to take place. This is worth remembering, since places are limited.
Work space
Porta22's Professional Development Centre offers you a modern space with 45 computers that you can use free of charge and on a walk-in basis. It is the ideal place to seriously pursue your professional goals, with access to all of our multimedia resources and our Personalised Advice service.
You can explore your professional interests and discover your skills profile, as well as learning about the more than 900 occupations listed in our professional profile catalogue. You can also practise job interviews and even check job opportunities. The space also features a library and newspaper library with specialised resources about the job market and human resources.
