Professionals who transform: The SSE as a job opportunity (NEW!!) - ESS41

Can you imagine working on projects that put people and the planet at the centre? This capsule invites you to discover the Social and Solidarity Economy as a professional path with purpose, impact and values. Explore roles, fields, and initiatives that offer meaningful jobs.

People who are looking for or redefining their professional path, interested in working on projects aligned with social, environmental and collective values. It is not necessary to have previous knowledge about the SSE.

Program content:

1. What is the Social and Solidarity Economy?
- Values, principles and organisational models
- How it contributes to a change in the economic and social model

2. The SSE as a space for professional development
- Diversity of roles and professions within the field
o Professional pathways: from collective entrepreneurship to job placement in existing projects
o Areas of activity: education, care, culture, food, ethical finance, communication, housing, technology.

3. Cultivate a vision aligned with the SSE
- What attitudes, skills and approaches are valued

This activity is carried out in two types of format: face-to-face session or virtual session. Check the type of each session and the details in the website calendar.

The activity will be carried out in the language indicated for each session.
