What does this service offer you?
The Government of Catalonia has launched the Professional Competence Accreditation Service
Through an accreditation process, you can obtain official recognition and certification of your professional skills.
Through your work experience, volunteering, or through unofficially recognized training.
The competence accreditation process has 5 phases:
Phase 1 - Registration
Information about the process and support in processing the application (check if you meet the requirements). here
Phase 2 - Admission
Verification of participation requirements.
Phase 3 - Counselling
The self-assessment questionnaire is completed, the work and/or training history is completed, and the report is issued.
Phase 4 - Competence assessment
The presented information is verified (what you can do).
Phase 5 - Accreditation of professional competences
Official certification recognising professional competences
Barcelona Activa, as an accreditation information point, advises and accompanies you in phase 1 of the process:
- We inform you about the characteristics of the procedure
- We review with you the admission requirements to validate that you meet them.
- We help you identify the acquired competences.
- We analyse which professional qualifications best fit your experience or unofficial training.
- We accompany you in the process of collecting justifying documentation and preparing the application.
- We help you formalise the application process.
