The Proxim Service is aimed at immigrants who meet the requirements for administrative regularisation and provides them with dual support. It offers legal advice in the administrative regularisation process and also advises on the definition of a professional goal and a work plan to achieve it.

What does this Service offer you?
Socio-labour support
- Knowledge of the environment, language, and culture of the country.
- Career and training guidance, training in key and transversal skills, and job search techniques.
- Professional training.
- Personalised support throughout the process with the assignment of a reference tutor.
- Monitoring and support for insertion into companies and for those starting a contract.
Legal assistance:
- Support and advice in legal procedures related to regularization.
- Advice to companies for hiring.
- Coordinated work with SAIER, Immigration Directorate, and Government Subdelegation.
Who is the Service aimed at?
People referred by municipal agents in the following situations can participate:
- People in administrative irregularity
- People in sudden irregularity (have had an NIE resident's permit at some point)
- Asylum seekers who have been denied refugee status
- People with residence permits without authorisation to work
There are three priority regularization channels within this service:
- Social access route
- Modification of residence permit to residence and work permit route
- Training access route
To use the Service, individuals must be referred from the following municipal organisations:
- Service for immigrants, emigrants, and refugees (SAIER)
- Municipal Institute of Social Services (IMSS): Social Services Centres
- Municipal Institute of Social Services (IMSS): Department of Social Services Intervention in Public Spaces
- Barcelona Social Services Consortium in coordination/through IMSS
- Service for Attention, Recovery, and Reception (SARA)
- Barcelona Activa
