As part of European and international agendas, driven by digitalisation, sustainability and demographic change, career guidance is establishing itself as a key policy for moving towards more resilient, inclusive and future-ready societies.
As highlighted by the European Commission, Cedefop, the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the OECD and the World Economic Forum, these key drivers of change are profoundly transforming the labour market, redefining occupations, skills and career paths.
Therefore, career guidance must go one step further and not only support change, but also anticipate it and help develop solutions.
What can you expect this year?
- During the morning, we will focus on understanding the context, analysing trends and rethinking how we provide guidance in changing scenarios, through:
- A shared outlook to help us navigate the changes that are shaping today’s world of work.
- A panel discussion with experts on the role of guidance.
- Interactive activities to reflect on key issues: generational succession, gender and inequalities, sustainability, and the impact of digitalisation and AI.
- A session on interpreting data and improving decision-making.
- A session on AI from a critical perspective, addressing its risks and best practices at local, national and European levels.
- A session on the extraordinary regularisation process
A session focusing on the challenges linked to the regularisation process, which will address its impact on the labour market and guidance services, and will include a space for co-creating career guidance models in this context. - “Construïm el futur” (Building the Future) session
A collaborative space for prototyping solutions and developing future-oriented responses, working in groups on real challenges related to employability.
