Marina Sailor

The objective of this training program is to obtain training that allows participants to work as Marina Deportivo, expanding their employment possibilities in a sector with high demand and future projection. As well as enjoying a dynamic, varied profession with contact with the environment.

- People preferably unemployed.
- People registered with the Catalan Employment Service.
- People interested in the maritime-port sector.
- People with knowledge of swimming in the open sea (survival practices are carried out in the sea)
- Required training: No academic or professional requirements are required.
- Knowledge of English minimum level B1.
- Primarily people residing in the city of Barcelona.

Program content:

  1. MP1618 Preparation of recreational boats for maintenance work (60 h)
  2. MF1296_1 Manoeuvre of the ship in port (100 h)
  3. Basic Nautical English (50 h)
  4. Customer service and quality of service (25 hours)
  5. Basic training in maritime safety (70 h)
  6. Non-work training internship module (40 h)

Total duration: 345 h

    This training includes the professional card "Certificate of Specialty of Basic Training in Maritime Safety" (STCW).

    Availability of course places: 15 . Registration does not guarantee a place in the course. 

    A selection process will be carried out in order to access it. Registered  people who meet the requirements will be invited to an information session, where a selection interview will be carried out.
