Quality control engineer
Description
This professional will be responsible for the company's quality systems. Assume responsibility of the development, implementation, execution and maintenance phases of the quality plan, giving special attention to the incorporation of R&D changes to the production process. This occupation will involve responsibilty for the application of EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) regulations to the production of aeronautic elements, although this does not exclude the application of ISO quality practices in other areas of the company These regulations are applied to different construction activities, aircraft maintenance and use, from the design to manufacturing, and up to and including the operation, maintenance and licencesing of aviation staff.
Tasks
- Prepare company quality plans. For this task, the part of the regulation that applies to company operations should be taken into account, that understands both the productive process and incorporation of R&D results into production.
- Takes charge of the implementation of the quality plan of the company.
- Manages the dissemination of knowledge of the policies and quality practices of the company among all employees.
- Inspect and check characteristics of the materials that are going to be used in production.
- Carry out quality control of the production processes, following the company's quality plan. In addition, manage documentary support, generally specified for the plan.
- Produce quality certificates corresponding to manufactured aeronautical equipment.
- Manages company quality audits, using adopted regulations as the contrasting standard.
- Maintains the file documentary generated by the quality control process, starting from the specifications of the adopted regulations.
