Description
Asset managers are experts who provide advice about and manage assets belonging to individuals or companies. Their main role is to address the current and future needs of their clients in relation to the management of assets that may require financial assessment. These professionals must be able to perform to a high level and carry out financial consulting duties. In order to perform this function, assets managers carry out similar tasks to those performed by financial advisers and insurance advisers. The difference between these professionals lies in the nature of the financial products they assess, the type of organisations in which they work and the kind of clients they manage. Thus, asset managers provide financial advice to clients with significant or a wide range of assets, for which they are tasked with maximising revenues, and deal with related private banking issues. Fincial advisers provide advice to individuals and companies in relation to specific financial products (mortgages, pension plans, investment funds, etc.) and primarily deal with banks and savings banks. The insurance advisor makes recommendations regarding insurance products (life insurance, non-life insurance, home insurance, etc.) and works at insurance companies.
