Description

The professional in charge of the representation and sale of the services and tourist products of a hotel or hotel chain. The work consists of marketing the accommodation and services offer of the establishment among different wholesalers, travel agencies, DMC (Destination Management Companies) and in different hotel industry establishments (hotels, restaurants, etc.). In practice, the main mission is to increase the hotel occupancy rate.

Tasks

  • Be permanently informed about the situation of the hotel market, its evolution and the offer of added-value services.
  • Present the offer of services and tourist products to hotel guests and give them information on special conditions, prices and promotions.
  • Schedule visits with potential consumers and meets them regularly.
  • Attend to guest complaints and negotiate possible compensation, trying at all times to maintain their loyalty.
  • Process the information on contracted services to the hotel commercial department.
  • Attend tourist promotion fairs, congresses and different acts for the presentation and promotion of tourist products.
  • Personally attend and present tourist products in fairs and events.
  • Sometimes participate in the organization of events in hotels.
  • Actively collaborate in campaigns for the promotion and communication of the hotel.
  • Maintains an updated database with guest information.
  • Follow-up the business relationship with guests.
