Ecojournalist

Description

People with degrees in related to the sciences with complementary education or degrees in Journalism with solid knowledge of the environment, disseminting information by written or radio media, news agencies, company press offices, environmental organisations, etc. They must be able to find relevant environmental information and convey it both understandably and comprehensively.

Tasks

  • Create informative materials in the different diffusion formats within your reach (press releases,magazine articles, radio programmes, TV, brochures, booklets, CD-ROM, websites, reports, etc.).
  • Moderate and participate in open debates with regard to the environment and quality of life.
  • Consult documentary archives.
  • Work jointly in designing programmes and citizen awareness campaigns and environmental education (waste, fire prevention, driving and mobility education, etc.).
  • Work with public relations and corporate image departments of companies, administrations and public and private institutions.
  • Work jointly on designing companies' environmental marketing programmes.
  • Perform environmental reporting as an internal and external tool for interested parties at companies (clients, homeowners' associations, workers, consumers, authorities, etc.).
  • Create environmental communication channels.
  • Introduce environmental communication issues into existing information channels (municipal magazine, municipal website, etc.).
  • Disseminate information on environmental quality.
