Description

The aim of the cruise ship service technician is to meet the needs of cruise ship companies. When they arrive at a port, they require specialized services related to the provision of all types of materials and basic supplies as well as legal and administrative management in order to enter the port, moor and stay as long as necessary.

In this sense, the shipping companies that actually receive tourists on board their ships to start a cruise must hire other companies to organize the itineraries, to receive tourists in the ports of the cities they visit - where some of the passengers embark and disembark -, to organize touristic visits, to stockpile the ships en route, to attend to the crews when they go ashore and to administratively manage all the legal issues that affect this activity, among others. As a result, the cruise ship service technician develops his/her professional activity within the fabric of companies specialized in providing these services to the cruise ship as well as to the companies and business groups that manage them.
