Description

These professionals are the leading manager of the centre and are in charge of managing it in all its aspects: institutional relations, administration, human and material resources and, especially, the education project.

These professionals usually have double responsibility: as a director and as a teacher at the centre. Thus, as director, they are the key figure at the centre and, in addition to their educational tasks, ensure that the centre is efficient: defining the objectives of the centre, setting the timetable for implementing the actions that make up the education project, organising and supervising services, analysing the operations of the centre (by tracking indicators, procedures, protocols or work instructions), coordinating labour and methodology aspects, and planning the centre's financial management.

In addition, they are responsible for promoting teamwork and collaboration among staff, considering the expectations of the students and parents, and planning for the future and application of administrative aspects such as contracting or introducing staff, building construction and applications for supplies, as well as the relationship with the educational authorities.

Therefore, they are teaching professionals oriented to the management of people and centres, which can be of various kinds: nursery, primary or secondary education, vocational training, sports or music, adult training or languages, among others.
