Description

It is an occupational profile with training skills that can be carried out by beauty consultants or make-up artists with extensive experience in their work. These professionals are dedicated to passing on their knowledge, either to other professionals, sales teams or end customers. The training topics can vary from courses teaching one how to apply their own make-up (aimed at the end customer with no professional knowledge), everyday or fantasy make-up, facial and body treatments, specific techniques related to machines and equipment, hair removal, etc., courses on micro-pigmentation, tattooing, etc., in general, all topics related to the field of personal image.

Tasks

  • Prepare the training sessions to be taught in advance, inquiring about the audience, its expectations and the subject matter. It is not the same to plan a training programme for seasoned sector professionals and end-customers with no specific knowledge.
  • Compile all the necessary documentation, preparing teaching notes and materials to hand out to attendees, such as background material, in case these might be necessary. This documentation should include photographic and audiovisual materials, references, etc.
  • Prepare all the materials required to run the course in the same manner. products, supplies, tools, appropriate clothing, etc.
  • Request these necessities from the commercial brand which supplies them (in the case of sponsored courses), the beauty care centre or the school.
  • If applicable, request and choose the necessary models in order to use them during training sessions.
  • Define the materials which course attendees need to bring with them.
  • Check the training venue.
  • Once the course starts, explain its contents in an accessible manner, allowing questions, etc., and adjusting to any changes in the pace and dynamics of the programme at all times.
  • Schedule practicals for students to be able to implement what they have learned.
  • When necessary, provide business information regarding the sales products associated with the course.
  • if relevant, assess what the students have learned by scheduling examination tests or practicals.
