Vocal technique teachers teach the skills required to sing (all different types), as well as acting as a vocal coach and teaching different skills such as voice practice, musical awareness and strengthening the voice. They may specialise in one singing style such as choir singing, opera, popular song and other disciplines.

• Work hours

  The workiday of vocal technique teachers who work at music schools is usually from Monday to Friday, although they may exceptionally work weekends, if students have performances. The schedule tends to be in the afternoon, although some conservatories also offer classes in the morning. They work week is generally 37 to 40 hours, of which 60% are spent teaching and 40% of the time is spent in other activities (both on site and not).
