Regulated training and graduates
The school inspector should at least have a university degree equivalent to the current degree, degree in engineering or architecture, or to have a PhD in any subject. The specialty of the degree will determine the subjects and centers assigned for inspection, for example, in secondary school centers in technological, scientific or social subjects.
In any case, the main degrees that will give you priority capacitation to exercise this occupations will be:

Complementary training
The school inspector must have the following qualifications: Catalan level C. Teaching certificate (CAP), Educational certificate (CCP) or any type of degree in education.
For the exercise of this job it is advisable to be at willingness of the Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary and High School Education, Professional Training and Language Teaching.
Other specific skills
Computer literacy at the level of advanced user: Office, Open Office, Internet browsers and Outlook. Advanced knowledge of virtual training or e-learning platforms, for example, Moodle, or of didactic digital contents management systems, for example, Joomla or Drupal.
Experience
Working as a school inspector requires passing a merit-based entry exam called by the educational administration, in the case of Catalonia, the Department of Education. Presentation for the exam means fulfilling the following requirements: Belong to one of the bodies involved in public education. Accredit a minimum of six years service as a professional civil servant in one of the bodies associated with public education and teaching experience of the same duration. Working in Catalonia requires being a career civil servant. Present an inspection plan in accordance with the characteristics indicated in the call.
