Description

The professional responsible for giving training courses to people over of 16 years of age who have not finished their compulsory secondary educational. The purpose of this training is to provide basic and professionalizing education to simplify the incorporation of these people into the work place or allow them to continue studying within the formal educational system. This professional can also give training that allows the student to reach the GCSE level.

Tasks

The tasks of the initial professional qualification programme (IPQPI) trainer are specified below:
  • Program training actions, define the objectives of the courses and establish the schedule according to whether the modules given are A (professionalised training programmes) or B (general basic training).
  • Prepare the training material for modules A or B, main contents, examples and exercises adapted to the the training attendees mostly young people between 16 and 21 years of age that have completed their General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) phase without obtaining the certificate.
  • Combine the training tasks with those of personal career guidance and tutorials to improve the job market integration of the students or motivate them to continue training.
  • Resolve any doubts of the students regarding the subject matter, expectations and professional interest.
  • Provide the skills specific to the level 1 rating of the current structure of the national system of professional qualifications in the specific subject.
  • Assess the level of training reached by the people attending the training sessions.
  • Control student attendance to the training sessions.
  • Draft reports on the training and tutorials to reflect their development and the result of the initial professional qualification programme.
