Description

The work superintendent is the professional who plans, coordinates and supervises the execution of the works the construction company has assigned to him, following the guidelines established by the supervision team or group of professionals in charge of managing the works, the architectural project and controlling the quality, budgets and time lines. Must also regularly report on the status of the works (with regard to planning, costs and quality) and any deviations to the supervision team and group leader.

Tasks

  • Carry out the supervision and control of supplier and manufacturer delivery notes and invoices.
  • Control the entry and outflow of building work storeroom materials (inventory and expenditure).
  • Manage contracts with suppliers and manufacturers: materials to be delivered, deadlines, price, quality, etc.
  • Manage the technical and building work administration teams (contracts, schedules, cancellations, etc.).
  • Review the work of contracted manufacturers to verify that they use and work with materials of suitable quality.
  • Inform and notify the supervision team and owners.
  • Control and carry out the follow-up of the technical and financial plans of the building works.
  • Control and supervise the execution of health and safety measures in the workplace.
  • Handle all building work documentation: deeds, licences and permits, contracts, registers, budgets, measurements, files, etc.
