Environmental noise consultant

Description

Acoustical consultants are responsible for compliance with acoustic quality criteria pre-established in the construction, transport, industrial, land planning sectors, etc. They work closely with the multidisciplinary team that participates in the project and can be comprised of architects, urban planners, engineers, etc.

Tasks

  • Coordinate the different professionals, trades and companies that participate in realisation projects for infrastructures, public spaces, industrial installations, etc. (civil and industrial engineering, architecture, urban planning, landscape gardening, etc.), in order to to contribute specific criteria and solutions in the area of acoustics.
  • Analyse and verify construction materials and solutions with the aim of attaining pre-established acoustic quality objectives for which you will be responsible.
  • Organise and plan projects and works in cases of acoustic adaptation of public spaces, private and existing infrastructures.
  • Perform consultancy tasks with regard to the environmental impact of noise pollution, according to regulations in force on emission and immission values and detected problems.
  • Monitor and analyse the behaviour of built infrastructures and spaces, throughout their service life or during their specific operations.
