Description

Aluminium is a material used on a large-scale in construction for the mass production of metalwork and structural elements. Its use in this field developed from the discovery of the anodisation process, thus maintaining the polished appearance of the aluminium for longer. A property that, along with its lightness, makes aluminium the ideal material for these applications. This is the specialised professional in the undertaking of different forms of assembly works and workable metal joinery and structures built with this material.

Tasks

  • Prepare the site and organise the surroundings.
  • Select and prepare the materials, tools, machines, instruments, auxiliary equipment and protection equipment needed to execute the work.
  • Unpack and check each of the parts received.
  • Put up, use and dismantle scaffolding.
  • Assemble the aluminium pieces on the metallic sub-frames.
  • Install the support sections.
  • Mechanically join the pieces and seal them using polyurethane foam.
  • Finish and siliconise.
  • Check gaps and mechanisms.
  • In renovation work, remove existing pieces.
  • Fit blinds.
  • Carry out quality control and ensure that conditions for receipt are met.
