Description

This professional organizes, manages, coordinates, controls and markets all the departments of a tourist, leisure, health, culture or business establishment. The maximum person in charge of achieving guest satisfaction.

Tasks

  • Responsible for the strategic planning and operation of the establishment.
    Determine the type of services provided by of the establishment, the category of the services and patterns and quality levels.
    Establish processes for administrative control and provision of services.
    Define the organization chart, describing different jobs and their respective responsibilities.
    Develop a communication strategy to market the company.
  • Manage the activity of the establishment and the marketing of the services offered.
    Controls the service quality.
    Be responsible for the correct performance of the people in the following areas: reception, administration, sales, accommodation, restaurant services, maintenance and complementary activities (animation, sport, etc.).
    Design offers to implement the business strategy.
    Determine and control service prices in accordance with demand, the competition and the position of the establishment on the market.
    Control the budget to comply with the objectives of economic return, and analyze any possible deviations.
  • In the case of hotel chains, be the main interlocutor with central services.
