Description

The hotel expansion manager is responsible for planning and correctly managing the processes that take place when hotels or hotel groups open new business divisions or absorb already existing hotels. Expansion in the hotel field, just like in other fields of the hospitality industry, is a now very common phenomenon since one of the trends of the sector is towards the creation of large hotel groups, often with an international presence.

Tasks

  • Assume the policy of the company and its expansion strategy
    Decide between the different expansion models (franchises, management contracts, strategic alliances, etc.).
  • Carry out an economic and financial feasibility analysis for the acquisition of land, properties, establishments, etc.
  • Manage portfolios of land in the process of being urbanized.
  • Negotiate economic conditions with owners of newly constructed hotels or hotels that will become members of the group.
  • Supervise the documentation referring to legal and administrative contracts and procedures (fiscal type procedures, processes before the local administration, etc.).
  • Negotiate with competent administrations the conditions for implementing new establishments (development of the area, planning problems...).
  • Coordinate the legal, administrative and commercial processes required to open new hotels of the chain.
  • Supervise compliance with corporate image and standards by new establishments.
