Description

This is the professional in charge of accompanying, informing, coordinating and assisting a group of persons during a trip, a museum visit, the viewing of cultural goods and visits to places of historical, ethnological, environmental or geographical interest Can work as a local guide and trail guide.

Tasks

  • Accompany, inform, coordinate and assist a group during a tourist or leisure visit.
    Analyze the service to provide and adapt it to the needs of the group.
    Coordinate tourist itineraries and deal with transport, hotels, guided tours and other complementary services.
    Manage the necessary means to make the guide service attractive and accomplished.
    Inform about the elements of interest that will be found during a trip or tourist visit.
    Provide solutions when emergencies, unforeseen events or any other type of incident.
    Update knowledge visiting sites to provide quality information.
    Organize and promote optional activities, respecting the general programme, to expand the degree of satisfaction and knowledge of the members of the group.
  • Analyze the service provided to detect its weaknesses and improve it.
    Evaluate the service offered by checking the degree of customer satisfaction.
    Inform the company organising the service about the quality of the different collaborators -hotels, restaurants, carriers, etc. - and the activities carried out.
    Advise the organising company when designing future programmes.
