Description

This professional is responsible for designing anti-theft systems at points of sale: defining the ideal system and equipment for the security of the point of sale, maintaining the equipment and machines, and advising shop staff about actions to carry out in order to prevent losses by theft.

Tasks

  • Select and coordinate the installation of the security equipment and audit the losses, together with the team.
    Anticipate and prevent losses, acting pro-actively on the cause and non-reactively way on the consequence.
  • Supervise and control the operation and maintenance of the security systems installed and draw up quality indexes for the service in coordination with service provider companies.
  • Participate in projects for the implementation of new security systems.
    Ensure reduction of the expenses and investment required in security.
    Optimize the cost/benefit ratio of the security applied.
    Consider the risk associated with different products.
  • Design protocols to control cashier staff and analysis of any incidents.
    Promote the concept and philosophy of loss prevention to the entire organisation through the improvement of the selection processes and staff training, as well as the limitation of the risks to which certain profiles or people could be exposed.
  • Coordinate the shop's security (staff entrances and exits, packaging, changing rooms, etc).
