Wine cellar assistant

Purchasing department, wine cellar or storeroom assistant. Main duties include maintaining storage areas in good conditions and supplying the different departments with the products they request.

• Keep storage areas in hygienic conditions.
  Ensure the workspace is clean.
• Ensure the storage area is in good condition and maintain it.
  Oversee the smooth running of the storage facilities and inform the maintenance manager of any incidents.
• Receive goods and check that they match the orders made by the various departments.
  Deliver the products ordered to the different departments.
• Store the products in the company store room prior to their being distributed or used.
  Comply with standards and monitor the receipt of goods and their subsequent storage.
  Ensure continued traceability of all food products.
  The ability to track the history of a product to help quickly find the source of any potential problems arising during its production or distribution and prevent these from reoccuring in the future.
• Assist the warehouse manager in the relevant duties: Check the order and location of products, expiry dates, the stock , etc.
