Description
Complete integration, alignment and complementarity between scientific strategy (fields and lines of research the company is focused on) and marketing strategies to successfully market the products is absolutely essential for pharmaceutical companies. The medical adviser provides the link between the market and fields of research. They work under the supervision of the managing physician and collaborate closely with the marketing and sales departments, designing the scientific contents of assigned products and providing support to the product manager. Furthermore, they collaborate in international and local clinical trials. The functions are related to scientific aspects in the clinical development of novel drugs. They support and provide technician-medical monitoring in all areas involved in the development of a drug, from advanced clinical phases to marketing and post-marketing, contributing internal added value (clinical areas, sales and marketing) and external added value (advice to prescribers, patients and opinion leaders).
