Description
The electronics technician designs or develops small cards and simple electronic products that are customised (analogue and digital), especially for satellite communication and transmission equipment. They are also in charge of maintaining the electronic equipment and creating and testing the electronic prototypes.
Tasks
- Develop and, in some cases, design small cards and simple electronic equipment. They can be analogue, digital or microprogrammable electronic products. Electronic equipment that goes in the satellite communications equipment must be designed in terms of redundancy; if an element fails, there must be an alternative operating system.
- Participate in the manufacture and fine-tuning electronic prototype observing the required quality and reliability, as well as the agreed costs. It is an environment, that of the space, in which reliability is an essential requirement.
- Carry out the maintenance of the professional electronic equipment, using the appropriate maintenance resources and techniques.
- Apply quality control in electronic and laboratory products used for the maintenance of industrial electronic equipment.
