Tracker, replenishment technician or procurement

A controller tracks the material supply programs required on the production line. Components, which will form the finished product, can be supplied by means of outsourcing, suppliers or other production plants within the same company. Thus, the controller has to control materials and stuff to arrive on time following the instructions of their functional manager. The tasks of the controller are very relevant because it acts as the link between the supplier and the production area.

This professional typically works with integrated management computer programs that allow him/her to have complete control of production orders, component localization and set delivery times. It depends on the Head of Supplies.

• Make requests for delivery of materials and control their execution. Establish contact with the supplier companies for the reception of materials and products.
• Manages compliance with supply programs and resolves the effects of nonconformities or rejections.
  Verify receipt of materials and process any nonconformities that may occur.
  It coordinates material flows (both components and raw materials) and finished products.
  It works to achieve integration between purchasing and production.
• Manages and organizes the supply of materials.
  Performs the administrative procedures to record the operations of input and output of material using computer management tools.
  Maintains and updates the list of materials, suppliers and purchase prices.
• Applies supply policies.
  Manages and monitors supply orders and programs in accordance with established production plans.
  Look at stock indicators and deviations.
  If the company's type of production is Just In Time (JIT) - production with the least stocks - it must guarantee the regular arrival of materials for the production chain with the maximum reliability and agility.
  Controls supply statistics according to the established parameters.
