Assembler, assembly technician.

Description

Machinery assemblers are responsible for assembling machinery and industrial facilities, both at their own factory and at the client's end. This is a multifunctional technician with knowledge of mechanics, electricity, electronics, and more, who must resolve any unexpected issues related to assembly that might arise on site. At the same time, they manage a group of assembly workers in the various specialisation fields: mechanics, electricians, welders...

Tasks

  • Assemble the machinery in accordance with the instructions received from technical management.
  • Plan the assembly.
  • Organise the workers and related materials (tools, mechanical, electric or electronic equipment, etc). In the event that material or machinery is needed from clients, notify them and make sure, before starting the assembly, that everything is ready to carry it out. Also plan for any equipment or materials that must be leased.
  • Carry out the assembly in accordance with the terms agreed with clients.
  • Resolve the incidents that arise during the assembly.
  • Organise the logistics of the assembly.
  • Conduct the relevant tests and start-up in the presence of the clients, all prior to finalising the assembly.
  • Ensure compliance with the occupational risk prevention regulations that relate contractors with subcontractors.
  • Make sure that all the company's equipment and materials are returned once the assembly is complete.
