Facility project engineer

The factory installation and assembly manager is in charge of the installation and assembly projects that are carried out at the factory's production plants, as well as the changes that are made to the installations that are already in operation. This can be a technician who is an employee of the company (generally in the case of large companies) or a person who works at an engineering firm specialised in carrying out installation and/or assembly projects. This profile reports to the technical office director or industrial director.

• Direct the assigned projects, in accordance with the technical director, from the preliminary plans phase to the execution and start-up of the facility or assembly.
• Coordinate the different areas of the company that are involved in the projects carried out.
• Coordinate the external specialised companies that participate in the projects carried out.
• Assume responsibility for the modifications that are made to the facilities/assemblies that have already been started.
• Prepare the budgets for the facilities or assemblies and monitor them during the carrying out of the projects, applying the necessary corrective measures in the event of deviations or modifications.
• Carry out the negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Take into account the regulations related to occupational and environmental risk prevention when carrying out projects.
