Description

These professionals check whether the Quality Management System (QMS) implemented by the client company meets company- or sector-specific regulations, or the ISO standards or other certifications obtained in the field of quality. Quality audits could be defined as independent inspections that aim to verify that the quality system implemented by a company has met the objectives set and that it is properly maintained. Quality auditors must be aware of the standards applicable to quality systems (such as the international ISO standards) so as to be able to rigorously plan, prepare and draft the necessary reports and to keep track of the auditing criteria. In recent years, quality has become a vital factor for the internal management of a company, while, at the same time, also serving as a corporate image and client satisfaction instrument. As such, there is nothing surprising about the current boom of product and system quality certification, which has led to an increase in quality-related occupations.
