Description

Copyright managers provide advisory services to companies, artists and creators in the cultural sector to advise them about intellectual property rights, manage licences, issue rights and, in short, do everything related to protecting and defending their rights.

Tasks

  • Obtain profits from the work or intellectural creation of the clients who are represented.
    Manage the collection of intellectual property rights, creating mechanisms for the collection of rights for making copies.
    Manage licences that authorise the reproduction of intellectual property.
  • Advise clients on legal and administrative matters.
    Provide administrative assistance for registering works.
    Draw up contracts related to publishing and representation.
    Perform accounting tasks, resolving procedures on tax issues.
    Provide legal advice on intellectual property.
    Able to represent clients in legal processes.
  • Provide guidance on prevention matters and advise on anti-piracy measures.
  • Legally advise about intellectual property on the internet.
